European Championships - Swimming - Diving - Synchro - Open Water  Welcome to the Budapest European Swimming, Diving, Synchronized and Open Water Swimming Championships. Budapest has received members of the LEN Bureau and the LEN Technical Committees and all those about to attend the Event. Activities are getting busier by the day and competition fever is setting in. Official Website   The Hungarian Swimming Association is hosting the largest European Swimming Championships of all times. Amid picturesque surroundings it will be a tournament studded by Europe’s numerous swimming stars. There are neither world championships nor Olympics this year, so the Budapest Event will be an ideal opportunity for Europe’s best swimmers to prove their talent.   Swimming Diving Synchro Open Water The Alfred Hajos Swimming Complex is being enlarged with a new, ten-lane, 50-metre pool, and a platform is being built for synchronized diving. On Lake Balaton the area set aside for the open water swimming events has already been selected.
